Free Play at the PlayGarden

Kids of ALL abilities deserve to PLAY! We host Free Play hours to increase access to nature-rich free play opportunities for children, youth and adults with disabilities and their friends and family.

Free Play is also a time to connect with community partners and members who share in our mission to end the stigma and exclusion of people with disabilities in our community.

NO fees. NO registration. Just come PLAY!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Fall Harvest Fest!

We had so much fun at Harvest Fest- carving pumpkins, making s’mores around the campfire, visiting with the animals, taking silly Fall photos, and of course, enjoying the pie potluck! One parent remarked “It really feels like we are part of a community this time!” We  couldn’t agree more.  With each event we host- our parent discussion nights, annual luncheons, May Madness, session of wheelchair basketball, or Harvest Fest the bonds between our current and former preschoolers, summer camp kids, their friends and family,  staff past and present, seem to grow even stronger.   So thank you to all who came out to celebrate Fall, connect with the garden and one another. We love our  ever-growing PlayGarden community!

We can’t wait to see new and familiar faces from preschool, summer camp and the neighborhood at our winter solstice event!
