At the event:

The event will be a sports spectacular showcasing athletes with disabilities including a scrimmage game between wheelchair basketball teams, The Seattle Sonics and the Tacoma Rainiers.  We will have delicious food and drink and loads of opportunities for our guests to take the court in scrimmages, drills, a free throw contest with prizes and more! No experience necessary. Everyone Can Play!

Be a Team Captain
Register your team of seven to ten players, choose a team name, and commit to raise $1,500 in donations from your team mates. See info below. 

Be a Free Agent
Register and we will assign you to a team. $100-150

Like it better on the sidelines? That’s great! Register and enjoy the festivities.

Be a Team Captain

We are looking for 30 Team Captains that will invite their friends, family and coworkers to attend the event. A team will get play in our wheelchair basketball tournament. A team consists of 7-10 players. No prior expereince necessary. 

Our Goal: Each team will commit to raising $1,500 to fill the PlayGarden financial aid fund for the year.

Option 1: Team Captains may let their guests know that they have the option to register and donate at 3 levels $100 for the Bleacher level, $150 for Court-side and $250 for All Stars with the goal being a total of $1,500.

Option 2: Team Captains may purchase 10 tickets for $1,500 so your guests may donate at any level at the event.

Be sure and choose a team name and colors and come prepared for loads of fun. You will receive a Save-the-Date and an invitation to recruit your “players” Your participation will bring  inclusive summer camp, preschool and free play to hundreds of kids in 2023 who would not be able to attend without your support.
